Terms of use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. General information

1.1. The Living Score service on the website living-score.com (the "service") is provided by the administration of the Living Score service (living-score.com), hereinafter the "administration". You can reach the administration by e-mail at info@living-score.com.

1.2. The service scores an address by what can be reached from it on foot and shows the places, routes and measurements behind the number. The service is free of charge.

1.3. By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. What a report is and is not

2.1. A report is computed from public map data (OpenStreetMap), public routing services and weather models. That data is made by volunteers and models: a shop may have closed, a new path may be missing. The report says how far to trust itself; read that line.

2.2. A report is for information only. It is not a valuation of a property, not advice to buy or rent, and says nothing about crime, the state of a building or the people who live nearby. Look at the place with your own eyes before you decide.

3. Accounts and access

3.1. A report opens in full and needs no account. An account is an e-mail address and a code sent to it; it keeps the reports you saved, so that you can open them again from any device.

3.2. An account may be opened by a person old enough to consent to the processing of their personal data on their own under the law of their country (14 years where this text is shown to you; 14 in Spain).

3.3. Do not share your sign-in code with anyone. You can have your account deleted at any time by writing to info@living-score.com.

4. Fair use

4.1. Use the site as a person would. Do not collect reports in bulk by script, do not overload the service or try to get around its limits, and do not resell reports as your own data. For bulk or commercial use, write to info@living-score.com.

4.2. The administration may restrict access from addresses and accounts that use the service in breach of these terms.

5. Content and map data

5.1. The texts, design and code of the site belong to the administration. You may save, print and show a report to others for personal purposes.

5.2. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence. Weather and air data by Open-Meteo. If you publish a part of a report, keep these credits.

6. Availability

6.1. The administration aims to keep the service running without interruption but does not guarantee it: the service depends on external map services that may be unavailable. The service may change, and features may be added or removed.

7. Liability

7.1. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the administration is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a report or for inaccuracies in the public data it is computed from.

7.2. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for wilful misconduct and gross negligence, or limits the rights that consumer protection law gives you.

8. Personal data and cookies

8.1. How your data are processed is described in the privacy policy, and what is kept in your browser in the cookie policy. Both are published on this site.

9. Governing law and disputes

9.1. If you have a complaint, please write to info@living-score.com first: we will try to resolve it within 30 days.

9.2. If you are a consumer habitually resident in a member state of the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that state's law (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, "Rome I") and may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live (Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012). For consumers in Spain this includes Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 on the protection of consumers and users.

9.3. If you are a consumer living in Russia, the law of the Russian Federation applies, including the Law "On the Protection of Consumer Rights", and you may bring a claim in the court of your place of residence.

9.4. These terms do not take away any right that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.

10. Changes

10.1. These terms may change; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes take effect no earlier than the day they are published and do not apply to the past. Questions: info@living-score.com.
